MINIMUM CURRENT RELAY

MINIMUM CURRENT RELAY to trip a motor when loading is below the preset value, to be used in conjunction with the existing DOL or star delta starter. Supplied with one ring type current transformer(C.T.) of appropriate capacity, electronic relay to disconnect supply to the contactor coil of the starter when the current drawn by the motor falls below the value set. The C.T. is built in for low currents and for higher currents it is supplied separately and should be inserted in one of the lines at the cable entry point to the starter or at any other convenient location to sense the line current. The relay is to be mounted next to the starter.

Overload protection can also be provided as optional facility.
