SYNOPSIS: The VIBRATION METER model VM - 6 is a portable battery operated instrument for measuring vibrations of any rotating, electro-mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic equipments. An electro-dynamic vibration transducer is used to pick-up the "Vibrations" and the electronic circuitry amplifies and filters the same to be read by a digital panel meter to read either peak to peak displacement or velocity. Since the instrument is small, light, it is portable. The instrument is supplied in a leather carrying case.
